How to Build your Summer Wardrobe

Summer is fast approaching and this is making us all really excited as it means we get to buy loads of new clothes. Or at least some to mix with our other wardrobe staples. We know for some of you this can be a daunting prospect so to help you calm you sartorial anxiety we have put together a list of things you must buy. The sunshine is on its way guys. Hang in there!

A sun dress
For picnics in the park, walks on the beach or sweltering days in the city, invest in a simple cotton sundress that will keep you feeling cool and looking stylish.

A great pair of sunglasses
No summer wardrobe is complete without a pair of statement sunnies for accessorising everything.

Wear-everywhere sandals
A pair of flat, simple sandals are essential for your summer wardrobe – these will look just as great with cut-off jeans as they will a floaty frock.

A simple denim jacket
Swap your leather jacket for a denim alternative that you can throw on when the weather gets cooler.

Flattering swimwear
For holidays or just sunbathing in the park, a well-fitted swimsuit or bikini that makes you feel great is essential.

Lightweight trousers
Whether you are heading on holiday or just sweating it out in the city, swap your jeans for a pair of lightweight trousers this summer. A linen pair would look great everywhere from the beach the office.

A floaty skirt
No summer wardrobe is complete without a floaty skirt. Team with a logo T-shirt and flats at the weekend or with a button-up blouse for work.

Dressy heels
A pair of comfortable heeled sandals that can be used to dress up any ensemble is key for the warmer months. Team these with everything from a sun dress to your lightweight trousers.
